ARABIAN FANTASY DANCE STUDIO

Is the first and biggest school of belly dance in Puerto Rico and the only school that teaches history, culture and authentic dance of the middle east oriental dance.  Yashira over 28 years of experience is the director, choreographer and instructor. 

Classes are offer to students of 7 years old to advance courses for adults. Ours students have competed successfully in competitions both in Puerto Rico and the United States. 

The efforts of Arabian Fantasy have produced a tremendous increase in interest and participation in the art of belly dance on the island through the school and workshops.

This has resulted in a steadily increasing interest in attending shows featuring belly dancers as an artistic form of entertainment.

Since her Yashira’s Arabian Fantasy Dance Studio was establish in Bayamon PR in 1987, Yashira has done much to dispel the negative image of the dance has shown women that her technique, with its subtlety and control, is a most graceful, feminine and challenging art.  In order to maintain the flexibility and creative dynamism essential to the evolution of her art form, Yashira travels to Egypt to give workshops, New York and Miami on a regular basis.
