Yashira has been dancing since she has 6 years old. Her preparation has been with Ballet of San Juan, Junito Betancourt, Variedades Artísticas in Puerto Rico.

In New York Hispanic Drama Studio, Serena Wilson, Katia Nordgren from Boston and from Egypt Ibrahim Farrah (Bobby), Raqia Hassan, Yousry Sharif, Nadia Hamdi, Madame Busy, Mahmoud Reda, Hassan Afifi, Nagwa Fouad, Aida Nour and Dina and many others.

Yashira Yamilet is the director and choreographer of middle eastern dance review in Puerto Rico together with Sabu Rosado the musical director, producer and agent are the founders of Arabian Fantasy since 1987.

In 1992 Yashira and Sabu went to television in Miami Florida “Sabado Gigante International” program for a

complete year with her musicians also Arabian Fantasy also in the “Sevcec” program in 1997.

Yashira has travel to Panama in 1993, 1994 and 1995 to perform for the Arab community to City of Colón and for the television in Panama City in Panama.

She has work in motion pictures, for Turner Pictures in a documental for the 16th century named “Sea Raiders” (1994) and for Warner Brothers “Executive Decision" with the producer Steven Seagal (1995).

1997 she was reward as the First Puertorrican to Perform Arab Dances in Puerto Rico. Also Yashira has participate in the first Performing Arts Center in PR with the drama “Anthony and Cleopatra" with the producer Vicente Castro and the drama “The Alchemist” with producer Rafael Rojas in 2005.

Yashira and Sabu performed in 1998 for Moroccan International Airlines convention in PR.

It was a honor for me to be the only Belly Dancer invited and selected to represent my country Puerto Rico in Cairo Egypt in a five star cruise “Nile Crystal” doing my presentation and giving a workshop in 1998.

Royal Caribbean Cruise in 2003 invited Yashira y Sabu as guest artist to do their presentation at “Aurora Theater” in Radiance of the Seas cruise ship.

Yashira and Sabu were award in Paoli Awards 2004 for having the best performance and Belly Dance School in all Puerto Rico “Arabian Fantasy Belly Dancers and Musical Show Presentation ” and “Arabian Fantasy Dance Studio”.

She has conducted seminars and workshop all around year in Puerto Rico.
